Flexible Solutions for Groundwater Abstraction

Our Wellman has been designed to be a permanent solution replacing rigid steel, PVC, or fiberglass piping when abstracting groundwater from wells. Used with an electric submersible pump, the lay-flat hoses provide a safe, high-performing, and cost-efficient solution to your next project.

These flexible risers provide for rapid installation and retrieval of the submersible pump. Both Wellman 120 and Wellman 300 come in a single length, specific to the required pump settings. This allows for flexible installations by hand, crane, or vehicle. The umbilical is attached through loops on the band along the hose.

Unlike more traditional methods, our hoses will have zero corrosion and no build-up of scale. Our high-quality materials are resistant to hydrocarbon fuels, several chemicals, ozone, UV, and microbial attacks.

A Smarter Way to Abstract Groundwater

Wellman has several benefits differentiating it from conventional alternatives, these are some of them:

Cost-Efficient
Great Adhesion and Tensile Strength
Drinking Water Approved
Long Lifetime and Low Maintenance
Easy to Deploy and Store
Less Impact on the Environment
High Working Pressure
High Quality Materials

Explore Wellman 120 and Wellman 300

In groundwater abstraction the hoses are used as the rising main. Depending on the length and pressure, Wellman 120 or Wellman 300 can provide optimal solutions for your next project.

Wellman 120

Wellman 120 is designed for superior hydraulic performance, with a reinforced textile, designed for swell under operation conditions up to 15%. This unique feature gives a nominal increase in riser diameter, reducing friction loss and improving performance. The small storage footprint allows for transportation by smaller vehicles and requires less manpower when handled. In certain circumstances, Wellman 120 can be installed by hand, which is particularly useful when installation is required in remote locations with limited access. Wellman 120 can be delivered in lengths up to 120m.

Wellman 300

Wellman 300 is manufactured using ’through-the-weave’ technology, where the high-grade HDPE lining and cover are formed in a single process to provide a tough one-piece composite riser. Continuous circular weaving of synthetic yarns forms a lightweight, high-strength, seamless reinforcement, the design of which gives Wellman its tensile strength. Wellman 300 holds several international drinking water certifications, including NSF61, WRAS, KTW-DVGW, AS-NZS 4020 and PZH. Wellman 300 can be delivered in lengths up to 300m.
