PIPE REHABILITATION

Pipeline rehabilitation is a hot political topic worldwide as rust, leakages, earthquakes, and age wear out old pipelines.

The negative effects of old pipelines range from loss of valuable drinking water to risk of ground pollution or even the danger of gas explosions in city centres.

Mandals rehabilitation hoses can be used for all leaking transfer pipes, whether from drinking water, methane gas, sewage or industrial chemicals. The installation is either by inversion or pulling. This provides a permanent solution and extends the life time of the existing pipe. Prior to installation all that is needed is a regular cleaning procedure of the host pipe by Polly Pig or other method.

There is no need to invest in new pipes, or disrupt traffic with endless excavation works. Leaks and corrosions are stopped and water quality is improved. The weave is made from high tenacity filament polyester yarn and is covered inside and outside by the “extrusion through the weave” production method, giving an outstanding adhesion level to the PE-material as well as being firmly encapsulated.
